Built upon the Oracle database and BI Forms, MPIS documents the pickup, testing, and delivery of milk for large dairys and dairy cooperatives. It calculates payment values for the producers of milk and those responsible for its transport. MPIS includes enterprise-managed services for producers such as a supply sales system and a method for maintaining assignments for insurance and equipment loans. And, MPIS provides financial functions including the issuance of payroll checks, the application of producer payroll figures to a general ledger, and a history system that maintains equity computations. |
