Milk Procurement System
biwer_triangle.jpg The Milk Procurement System (MPS) is built on MS/Access, and is appropriate for the small to medium sized dairy operations.  The primary function of the MPS is to expedite a dairy or dairy cooperative’s Producer Payroll process. This is accomplished using a very user-friendly system that documents the pickup, testing, and delivery of milk, as well as issues payment to Producers of milk and those responsible for its transport.

The organizational structure of milk producers varies from the traditional family farm, to farms with multiple owners, to farms held by large corporations. Each type of farm has different payment requirements. MPS can accommodate any type of Producer and any type of Base Pay, Premium, and Hauling Charge requirements.

From the smallest to the largest of farms, the quantity and quality of milk produced depend on many factors: the breed of cow, its age, its feed, and its care. All play a role in a farm’s output. Regardless of the quality and total quantity of milk produced on a farm, the procurement process remains virtually the same. MPS follows the entire process.
